This year OISCA South India has entered into the field of new and unique projects. Community development initiatives. As per this project OISCA is working for the spiritual, social and economic transformation of weaker sections of the society. We believe all people regardless of their circumstances have worth and dignity to live out a valuable future. Selected sectors in our society are given products at 50% subsidy to increase their standard of living, empower women, inprove the health condition, and help farmers.
Unemployed 50 women were provided with HP laptops at 50% subsidy. The balance amount was provided from CSR fund of HP company. These women were also given classes in online marketing, online banking transactions etc. The next project was to help students were we provided them school kits which contained school bags with note books, tiffin box, water bottle, umbrella, instrument box, pen, pencil, eraser etc at 50 % subsidy. More than 500 school children from different districts in Kerala benefitted from this project. Next project was aimed at providing safe and clean drinking water to houses by arranging water purifier to offices, schools and individual houses at 50% discount. Aquaguard company was our partner in this project . Farmers were provided with fertilizers on 50% subsidy and many farmers from rural areas benefitted out of this. Lastly two wheelers of Honda, Yamaha and TVS were given to working women at 50% discount to ease their commute to their work place, banks, enterprises etc. This made them to become independent in travelling. This project was meant to empower women. OISCA joined with National NGO Confederation in the successful implementation of all these projects.
